Hang on Sloopy as performed by The McCoys
A fun arrangement of the major hit for the band The McCoys in 1965. This arrangement is suited for a younger string orchestra, all in D major and playable without any shifting. Parts for Violin 1, Violin2, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass are included along with the full score.
If you are in an Ohio State Buckeyes fan base area, this tune will be a huge hit at your concert or pep rally!
Sweet Child ‘O Mine as performed by Guns ‘N Roses
A hard-rocking classic rock arrangement that can be used with a high school or very advanced middle school string orchestra. It can also be played by a string quartet or small ensemble. The solo part can be played by violin or guitar, and works well with an electric violin and amplifier. This is an arrangement of the entire piece. In the key of D Major, the original is a half-step lower. Highly recommend using a drummer as well, however a drum part is not included. A score and parts for Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello/Bass, and a Solo Violin are included.
